Bar carts with wine racks
A rack uses the dead vertical space under a shelf. The one that matters is whether it moves, because a fixed rack decides your bottle count for you.

A wine rack on a bar cart is the one feature in this category that genuinely creates storage rather than relocating it. Bottles lying horizontally occupy the dead band under a shelf — space that otherwise holds nothing at all — and the corks stay wet, which matters for anything you are not opening this week.
The pick is the SONGMICS ULRC291A02, because its rack repositions. That sounds like a minor convenience and it is not: a fixed rack decides how many bottles you store and then wastes the space when your collection changes shape.
The geometry a rack has to accommodate
A standard 750 ml bottle is published at about 11.8 inches long and 2.95 inches in diameter. A rack designed around that will hold most wine and most standard spirits.
What it will not hold well: magnums, squat spirits bottles with wide shoulders, anything in a decorative shape. That is the practical limit of a fixed rack, and it is worth checking your own collection against 2.95 inches before buying a cart specifically for the rack.
Fixed versus repositionable
Fixed racks are cheaper, more rigid, and they are a commitment. The HOOBRO BF02TC01 is the good version: 25.2 by 15.7 inches, 55 lb a shelf, adjustable feet, and a rack sized for standard bottles.
Repositionable racks let the cart become a plain shelf when you stop drinking wine, or a two-rack cart when you start. The SONGMICS is the example and it is the reason it leads this page.
Stem holders are the related feature: rails that hold wine glasses upside down by the foot. They use the same dead space and they are excellent, with one caveat covered in storing glasses on a cart: upside-down glasses collect dust in the bowl.
How many bottles a rack actually holds
Most racks on carts this size take four to six bottles. At 2.95 inches diameter, a 24 inch rack width fits eight bottles touching, so a rack with divided slots will publish four to six.
Weight is not a concern here. Six bottles is roughly 18 lb against shelf ratings of 55 to 66 lb on all these carts. The full conversion is in the weight capacity guide.
If you do not drink wine
Then skip the rack entirely. It occupies shelf area whether or not there are bottles in it, and an empty rack looks worse than a plain shelf. The spirits-drinker version of a storage cart is depth plus a tray, which is covered in bar carts with real storage.

How these were picked
I have not tested any of these carts. What I did instead: compiled the published specifications from each listing, recorded the figures with their source, checked the footprint against the clearances a real room has, worked out how many standard bottles a stated shelf actually holds, and named the one I would skip. Where two listings for the same cart disagree, the page says so rather than quietly picking one.
